SUPPORT THE STREET!
The Main Street Music Department will again be hosting the “Support the Street” concert and fundraiser on May 23. The festivities will begin around 4:30 pm and will run in conjunction with the final No Shame that evening.
The event will feature student created music performances, and money raised will go toward the purchase of music equipment for the school. This event is the music department’s only fund raiser for the year, and we are hoping to raise enough money to fund the department for the 2008-2009 school year. Instrument purchases for next year hope to include a set of steel drums, valued at around $20,000.
The event will feature a raffle, live auction, and fun festivities abounding!
