MSSPA's music program encourages students to find their unique musical “voice.” Individual skills are enhanced through student and staff-directed vocal and instrumental ensembles. Additional classes in history, theory and technology challenge students to expand their musical skills and understanding.

We emphasize:
• The creation of original pieces
• Collaboration with other students
• Music ensembles: Jazz, string, instrumental
• Vocal ensembles: choir, small group, women's group
• Participation in school sponsored and student generated ensembles
• Experiences with local and national musical artists
